received product superfast, opened my computer excitedly, after turning off/unplugging all sockets in the back, removed a pair of 256mb memory, moved them to the adjacent connectors, then carefully, inserted the new pair of 1gb memory closer to the microprocessor. It was an easy procedure. I was able to turn the computer back on, noticeable fast processing, and opening of all programs. Well satisfied, period.
