Subject: Dell XPS400 Memory
Comments: It took more time to get the cover off my Dell XPS 400 than it did to add this memory strip. Opened the side clips on the PC, seated the memory into the slot, pushed down until it clicked, closed the side clips, put the pc cover back on, connected the cables, and bam, I had another 1GB of memory. My system read it immediately, and programs began opening much faster. Works just fine at a great price.

Subject: Easy to install, but.....
Comments: The updgrade was relatively easy to perform on my own. To be honest, I was expecting a little more boost of performance. I went from 512k of RAM to 4GB (I bought 4 1GB memory cards). The PC recognizes all 4GB of RAM, but the performance increase is barely noticeable if at all. Good service from the company (quick/prompt delivery), easy to install, just not sure it was worth it.
